Église Source Feconde (ESF) was birthed in the early 1980s by a small group of believers, led by Papa Pierre KABUMBU, who used to gather in a private house KDL camp in Likasi. What started as a small gathering of faithful individuals seeking to worship and serve God together, has now blossomed into a thriving community of over 1,000 members under the visionary leadership of Reverend Pastor Désiré MBAY.
Through the years, ESF has grown and expanded, reaching out to other areas and impacting countless lives through its mission and message of faith, hope, and love. At ESF, we believe that every person has a unique purpose and calling in life, and we are committed to helping individuals discover and fulfill that purpose through our various ministries and programs.
Our church community has experienced tremendous growth since its inception, with over 1,000 parishioners spread across five churches in Likasi, Haut-Katanga Province. Our vision, however, extends far beyond our current reach. We are committed to expanding our impact not only throughout other provinces in the Democratic Republic of Congo but also abroad.
Our community is more than just a place of worship; it is a hub of ministry and outreach. Our 13 Ministries provide opportunities for members to serve in various capacities, from music and worship to youth and evangelism. Our Bible School, the Ecole Biblique Source Féconde (EBSF), forms and equips the next generation of pastors and church leaders. We also have a primary and secondary school, the Complexe Scolaire Source Féconde (CSSF), which prepares and trains young people for leadership roles in their communities and beyond.
Through our church, we seek to make a positive impact in the world by empowering individuals to live purposeful and fulfilling lives, both spiritually and practically. We are dedicated to growing together as a community and expanding our reach to make a difference in the lives of people both locally and globally.
